Description
Crowns for a Cure, the Beauty Pageant that is about so much more than just a crown and sash.
Individuals ages 0-18 are encouraged to compete in pageant categories such as Beauty, Best Dressed, Most Beautiful & Photogenic for the title of Miss Okeechobee Princess (0-7) and Miss Okeechobee (8-18) all in the name of charity.
Last year's inaugural pageant raised over $9,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The second annual Crowns for a Cure pageant (2022) will not only raise funds but awareness with 100% of the proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
